Family detailsSon of Henry Sinclair Hall and Anne Leigh Keturah Hall, of 9, The Avenue, Clifton, Bristol. Father was a maths teacher, author of maths books and inventor of a type of fly fishing hook. Harry’s elder brother, Arthur Henry, received the CBE in 1918 for work on torpedoes and mines in WW1 and was knighted (CB) for his role as Head of Aeronautical at Farnborough.
