Notes | Alan Whapham’s Hudson, and another, had gone to the aid of a Stirling crew who had ditched off the coast of Denmark. They dropped a lifeboat but shortly after the two Hudsons and the lifeboat were attacked by two Messerschmitt Bf110s. Wapham’s Hudson was shot down and the other one damaged.
