Alan Whapham’s Hudson, and another, had gone to the aid of a Stirling crew who had ditched off the coast of Denmark. They dropped a lifeboat but shortly after the two Hudsons and the lifeboat were attacked by two Messerschmitt Bf110s. Wapham’s Hudson was shot down and the other one damaged. The lifeboat was attacked and sunk. The bodies of the crew were never found. http://www.flensted.eu.com
