Plant, Percy William
Percy William Plant, B.A., 2nd Lieut. 8th Batt. Royal West Kents was reported missing between 25th and 27th September. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs W. Plant of Sidcup. Educated at Dartford Grammar School, he afterwards became an Assistant Master there, leaving to study at King's College for his degree at London University, which he obtained. He afterwards entered the Theological Faculty, intending to read for the B.D. Degree. He left College to take up a Commission in the Royal West Kents in December, 1914, and went to the Front in September, 1915, as Officer in charge of the Signalling Section. It is to be hoped that the worst fate that has befallen him is that he is a prisoner in the hands of the enemy. S. C. E. L., King's College Review, June 1916
