Mount, Edward Alfred
Second Lieutenant Edward Alfred Mount was educated at Latymer Upper School where in 1911 he gained his Matriculation. In 1913 he graduated B.A. with Second Class Honours in English at King's College, University of London. He was an enthusiastic member of the O.T.C. and played a prominent part in athletics. He studied also at London Day Training College, where he was appointed President of the Students' Union for the Session 1913-1914. In September 1914 he entered upon his duties as English Master at the Blackpool Secondary School. He obtained his commission in January, 1915, and fell in action on the 4th January, 1916 at St. Eloi .
