Ellis, Rev. Cecil Robert William
City Chaplain Killed on Italian Front: Captain Cecil Robert William Ellis, Chaplain to the Forces, who is reported killed in action on the Italian front, was the only son of Canon C. C. Ellis and Mrs. Ellis, Didsbury Rectory, Manchester. Capt. Ellis who was 32 years of age, was ordained in 1934 and had been senior curate at Ellesmere Port since 1936.
