Letter from his mother dated 5th Feb. 1951

“My son John William Thomas Bromham left King’s College in 1939 to join the RAF . He was commissioned as a Pilot Officer (with wings) in Jan. 1941, No. 89598 A Flight No. 3 Squadron – reported missing Sept. 7/8th 1941 and later presumed killed. I have since heard that he is buried in the British Military Cemetery at Kiel, Germany.”
