Baird, Leonard Barron

Captain Leonard Barron Baird, R.A.M.C., attd Manchester Regiment, elder son of Dr. Baird, of Springwell, Manchester-road, Bury was killed on April 21, aged 29. He was educated at Manchester Grammar School and Victoria University. He became an undergraduate of London University and qualified as a doctor in 1914. He joined the forces on the outbreak of war, and went through the Gallipoli campaign. Times 28/4/1917
