Ashton, Denys Alban
Billericay Airman Killed in Middle East. Flight-Lieut. Denys A. Ashton, R.A.F. aged 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Ashton of Rowans, Belle Vue Road, Billericay, and an Old Boy of Brentwood Grammar School, has been killed on active service in the Middle East. Before joining the R.A.F. he graduated with first-class honours in engineering science from King’ s College London.
