Snow, Charles Foote
Second Lieutenant Charles F. Snow, the elder son of Mr. W. H. Snow, Compton House, Peterborough, has been killed in action. Twenty-eight years of age, he was educated at the Cathedral School, Peterborough, and the Barton School, Wisbech. He entered Guy's Hospital Dental School, May, 1908, and qualified L.D.S. in May, 1910. He went to South Africa five years ago, and at the outbreak of war was attached, as senior lieutenant, to the Kimberley Regiment. Afterwards he was transferred as captain to the South African Medical Corps, going through the German West Africa campaign. Coming home in October, he was given a commission in the artillery.
