Sandoe, Montague William Augustus
Lieut. M. W. A. Sandoe was the eldest son of Dr. and Mrs. Sandoe, of Broad Clyst, Devonshire. He was 21 years of age and was killed in action on May 7th of this year. He was educated at Allhallow's, Honiton, Guy's Hospital and Durham University. His Colonel writes of him to his parents:- "Your son was a most excellent officer in every way, the men thought a great deal of him. I had a very high opinion of him, and he is a great loss to me."
