Peatfield, Stanley James
Peatfield, S. J., 2nd Lieut., 9th Royal Berkshire Regiment (attached Machine Gun Corps) was the youngest son of Mr. H. Peatfield, Dental Surgeon of Brighton. He joined the London University O.T.C. in 1914, and obtained his commission in 1915. He was sent to France in March, 1916, and was severely wounded at Ypres on July 1st of the same year and died the following day. He was 22 years of age.
