Missing Surgeon Lieutenant-Commander Leslie Merrill R.N. together with his wife and baby son, reported missing and believed killed while on active service. Any information will be gratefully received by his father, H. W. Merrill, Fylde Lodge, Thorntn-le-Fylde, Lancs. The Times 27 March 1944
