Martin, Albert

Martin, Albert, Major, N.Z.M.C. Entered Guy's in October, 1878 and had a brilliant career whilst at this Hospital. As a student he took 1st Prize at the 1st, 2nd and 4th Year Student exams - the Michael Harris Prize in 1881, and the Beaney Perize in 1883. He obtained Honours in Anatomy at the 2nd M.B., B.S., and was awarded the Gold Medal in Medicine for the M.D. London in 1885. He eventually practised in Wellington New Zealand. Died of wounds.
