Ievers, Eileen Mary Elise

Ievers – At sea due to enemy action, Eileen Moira Elise Stuart Ievers, A.A.R.C. Matron Q.A.I.M.N.S., elder daughter of the late Lt.-Col. Ad Mrs O.G. Ievers and sister of Mrs. C.A.L. Davies, Marine Villa, Middle Colaba, Bombay. The Times 27 April 1944

It is with deep regret that the War Office records that the following 40 officers of the Army Nursing are now presumed to have been killed in action at sea on 12th February, 1944, when the ship in which they were travelling, was lost at sea as a result of enemy action. Q.A.I.M.N.S., Matron Miss E. M. E. Ievers S.R.N. (see also Miss Barbara Leech)
