Frost, Robert Lewis (sometimes given as Louis)

Major Robert Louis Frost, I.M.S. s recorded as “ Died” in an Indian Office Casualty List published on April 30. He was born on April 26 1898 and entered the Indian Army in 1917 as lieut. in the 120th Infantry. He was one of the many young officers “ axed” after the war of 1914– 18 and retired with a gratuity in 1923. He then entered Guy’ s Hospital, took the M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. in 1929, and was appointed to the I.M.S. in August of that year, being ranked as capt. from August, 1926. He had been a member of the B.M.A. since 1931.
