The Link (1933-1939) In this volume in number 26, a Rosalie Lulham Memorial Number is included. When Miss Lulham joined the College and the Demonstration School situated in West Kensington there was no Nature Department in the school. This piece [by a former student] describes the change that Miss Lulham made to the college and how the students' learning has changed thanks to her teaching methods. As well as providing the college with a Nature Department, Miss Lulham also organised expeditions on the grounds and surrounding areas for the students to learn by standing and staring at nature in all its beauty. This is an interesting resource for the reader wanting to gain an insight into how Froebel's nature study has been taken forward and maintained during the students; training many years after his death. It also shows the legacy that Froebel managed to create with his educational philosophy that still survives today.
