Description

Gordon Highlanders resting on a march between Peshawar and Kohat. Photograph depicting soldiers and horses. There are various military personnel who appear to be wearing kilts and sporrans. Their demenour appears to be relaxed. Various boxes are strewn across the scene. To the left of the photograph can been seen 3 soldiers sitting down beyond them a couple of horses. To the right of the photograph in the foreground one soldier has his back to the camera, one is looking towards the camera (wearing a kilt) whilst the third is in a relaxed posture with his hand supporting his head leaning on a box.
