Description
Photograph shows a tented military encampment at Karuppa where heavy snipping was experienced. On the right of the photograph a clearing of rough soil and stones. In the background to the right can be seen a figure wearing a turban and short trousers, behind him a small group of people. To the left of the photograph are a row of small tents some military personnel can seen. Beyond the camp are some trees, and in the background a mountain range snow capped.
