Photograph of the unloading of stores from SS RIVER CLYDE, V Beach. The caption on the reverse reads "The S.S. "River Clyde", which, loaded with troops, was run ashore on the beach, Seddul-Bahr. She is known familiarly as "The Wooden Horse". in allusion to the famous and somewhat similar expedient of the Greeks at Troy." No 2304.
