Photograph of Lt Aubrey Lees' study. The caption on the reverse, written by Lt Aubrey Lees, reads: "One view of my study. The table, the top of which you can see in the middle foreground, is the one at which I sit and write my letters to you. The white hazy horizontal lines across the Persian tapestries are the light shining through the cracks of the wooden wall. On the wooden bench are boxes containing my gramophone records."
