Two photographs on an album page. The first is of a fort and captioned "Entrance to Beder Fort, Beder, Dec 1892." The second is of a village and is captioned "A Deccan village - this serves as a type of one of these villages built at a period when the Pindarees used to roam about the country robbing villages. The high walls were built with a view to protection from these depredations, On the march, near [Kundapur], Jan 1893." From a photograph album of collected photographs in the period Sep 1889-Jul 1894.
