This collection of photographs relates to Lewis Arnott's service with the Royal Artillery, North West Frontier, India, 1915-1916.

It includes images of the Afghan delegation to peace talks with Britain, in NWF, 1915 (captioned, with names); British forces in camp and on marches; views of Peshawar, fortifications, gardens, ammunition, artillery, motor cars, pack animals, and images depicting daily life for soldiers and local people.Ā
