7 September 1901 The Nursing Record and Hospital World mentions Mrs McKinley, the wife of the President of the U.S. has given to each of the two nurses who attended to her during her illness a valuable gold ring engraved Ida McKinley to ST and EH. ST was for Sarah Taylor and EH for Ellen Hunt. 7 September 1910 sailed from Philadelphia to Liverpool on SS Haverford and listed profession as 'none'.
