Living at Prospect Gardens, St.Mary Bishophill Junior, York, in 1871 with her parents, two brothers and two sisters; at 1 Wenlock Building, Fulford Road, York, in 1901; at 17 Fulford Road, York in 1911; Christiana's father died in 1873 when she was nine, leaving her mother with a family of five children at home aged from nine to one year. Christiana married Harry Leatham Challenger, a Coal Dealer, in York, Dec Qtr 1894. Harry was a widower whose wife had died in 1893. He had fathered eleven children with her, three of whom were aged eleven, nine and five when Christiana married him, and were living at home in 1901. Christiana and Harry had two children, Gertrude in 1896 and Sep in 1899. Died age 63.
