First, second and final sheets of an artist’s book by Jeremy AdlerThe work reproduced here is from an attractive artist’s book produced by Jeremy Adler, poet and professor emeritus at King’s College London.
Jeremy has been active on the poetry scene since the 1960s, and was an influential member of the British Poetry Revival of the 1960s-70s.
He produced experimental work during this period and worked with a number of significant British poets, including Eric Mottram (1924-95), who also taught at King’s and whose own collection is currently being catalogued.
Jeremy is renowned for his artist’s books, having produced several works, often in collaboration with visual artists. This item was published in a limited edition of 99 copies, of which this copy is number N. The text layout, charming colour designs and use of fold out-sheets offers the reader a visual, tactile experience of the poems.
