Thomas Medwin. Journal of the Conversations of Lord Byron. London: Henry Colburn, 1824, pages 352-3. NLS AB.2.87.8Thomas Medwin published a popular but controversial account of his conversations with Byron during their time together in Italy. He recorded many of Byron’s thoughts on politics, including his progress from parliamentary failure to an interest in international politics.
