Shakespeare Tercentenary, 1916

In 1914 a Tercentenary Committee was formed at King’s to plan the events.

Gollancz also oversaw the publication of An Homage to Shakespeare, which featured memorial pieces by contributors from all over the world, including Gollancz himself.
