About these catalogues
The detailed catalogues describe the papers in most collections held in the Centre, a collection usually being the papers of a single military figure. Each detailed catalogue includes a general introduction and a biography of the individual concerned. The descriptions are usually at single item or file level. In addition to the extensive detailed catalogues available in the Liddell Hart Centre for Military Archives itself, on-line versions are being prepared for this site on the World Wide Web.
