Administrative / Biographical history

Born in Cambridge, 1845, entered Guy's 1861/62; MD Brux (Honours in Midwifery), 1879; LRCP Lond 1869, MRCS Eng & LM 1865, LSA 1863. Barraclough was Chief Medical Officer during the 1868 Cholera epidemic in London.

Archival history

Photograph and cutting donated to the Wills Library, Guy's Hospital Medical School, by Miss Maude White, 1967. Certificates donated by Ms S Wilson.

Immediate source of acquisition or transfer

Transferred from Guy's Hospital Medical School Library in 2002.
