74 General Information Residential accommodation for students has had to be sought away from the Strand and the College possesses three halls of residence- at Vincent Square SWi Clapham Common SW4 and Champion Hill SE5 The College athletic grounds are within reasonable travelling distance of the College Daily Service and Lectures in Theology jih jjiiiutiiurrin דוומו π τι מיגvmu TOiTwrrorrTicTL ooit College service is held in the Chapel at the opening and close of each term On the first day of term the service is at 10 00 and on the last day at noon No student is under any compulsion to attend and no student may be subject to any disability on account of his religious belief but timetables are so arranged as to leave the time of this service free from lectures There is also daily service in term time Morning Prayers daily at 30 the College Eucharist on Wednesdays at 00 12 noon on the last day of term Holy Communion is also celebrated at 10 on Fridays and Major Festivals There is Roman Catholic Mass twice weekly at times advertised on the Chapel noticeboard ASSOCIATESHIP OF KING'S COLLEGE The Associateship of King's College may be conferred upon students who follow special course of lectures organised by the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies The aim of these lectures is two-fold to give students of all faculties other than Theology and Religious Studies some knowledge of the intellectual disciplines of theology and religious studies ii to give students of the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies some knowledge of intellectual disciplines other than their own The weekly lectures in theology are provided in the Michaelmas and Lent terms and the timetable of classes in each faculty is so arranged as to allow students to attend these lectures if they wish The normal time is 10 00 on Mondays an alternative hour is provided at 10 00 on Wednesdays for 2nd and 3rd year students in the Faculties of Natural Science Medical Science and Engineering and those students in the Faculty of Arts attending intercollegiate lectures who are unable to attend on Monday
