112 Faculty of Laws Public International Law Labour Law 10 Family Law 11 Criminal Responsibility and the Elements of Penology 12 European Community Law 13 Introduction to the Soviet Legal System 14 Law of Personal Taxation All the courses numbered 4-14 will not necessarily be available each year PART II The tuition and the examinations will be entirely in French at the University of Paris candidate for admission to Part II must have passed the whole of the examinations for Part although in exceptional circumstances the College may at its discretion permit candidate to proceed to Part II before taking Part candidate who has satisfied the examiners in Part of the LL English and French Law and who is unable to proceed to or complete Part II of the examination may at the College's discretion be permitted to transfer to Part II of the LL examination The examination for Part II of the LL English and French Law consists of written papers in two subjects in each year of the course and an oral examination in the remaining subjects Candidates may choose to be examined by continuous assessment instead of by oral examina- tion in two subjects in each year The subjects in Part II are First Year Administrative Law two semesters Introduction to Law one semester Civil Law Theory of Obligations one semester Civil Law II Liabilities one semester Commercial Law two semesters Constitutional Law one semester Law of Property one semester The History and Development of the Major Legal Systems one semester Criminal Law one semester
