78 General Information Postgraduate Courses The sessional fees given below are composition fees Full-time Students Sessional Fees Master's degree by course work Phil Ph Diplomas Certificates Academic Diploma in Education Postgraduate Certificate in Education Part-time Students Students are registered at the College as part-time only if they fall into one of the following categories Persons engaged in earning their own livelihood who provide evidence from their employer to that effect at the time of registration Persons over the age of 25 who are registered as unemployed Persons who have retired voluntarily or otherwise from regular employment Persons whose domestic circumstances are considered by the College to prevent their pursuing full-time study Students in the fourth or subsequent year of registration for research degree save when the College prescribes minimum course of study extending over not less than four years Students registered as Internal postgraduate students who are paid as research assistants or the like and financed from Research Council grants or research contracts Sessional Fees Master's Degree by course work excluding Sc in Engineering by credits Phil Ph Diplomas and Certificates in all Faculties £354 Engineering Sc by credits £118 per credit course Special Fees and Other Courses Students who are required to take qualifying examination consisting of papers for Bachelor's Degree examination before being permitted to register for higher degree will if enrolled in the College be charged at the under- graduate rate until the date of registration for the postgraduate course special fee of £20 is charged in lieu of the corresponding portion of the sessional tuition fee to all postgraduates who spend session or part of session at foreign university and pay fees to that university as part of the prescribed course for the qualification for which they are registered £1413 £480
