86 General Information Every Monday solicitor comes to the Students' Union to answer more complicated legal problems Student Health The Medical Centre on the third floor of the Macadam Building is open from 30 until 00 during the term and for certain parts of the holidays The Centre is staffed by Dr Terry and trained nurse Dr Matthew Forster psychotherapist attends for one day each week during term time Comprehensive medical services are available to all members of the College When students begin their courses at King's they should make their own arrangements with doctor in the area where they are living and with whom they should register under the National Health Service Students living in lodgings or Halls of Residence should register on temporary basis and those living at home should register permanently Students living in King's College Hall Champion Hill are registered with Dr Terry and all students living within three miles of Dr Terry's surgery in Dulwich may register with him This is to ensure adequate emergency coverage in the evenings and weekends Similarly students who commence treatment at the Centre must be able to obtain long- term advice from their own doctors Details of doctors in the National Health Service are available at Post Offices It is important that all students who feel that either counselling or treatment for physical illness is necessary should contact the Centre at the earliest possible opportunity Careers and Employment The careers service at King's on the third floor of the Macadam Build- ing provides vocational guidance careers information of all kinds and assistance in finding employment Two careers advisers Clive Green and John Exworthy are available for interviews from Monday to Thursday each week during term All students and graduates are welcome to use the service and in addition the facilities of the Uni- versity Careers Service at 50 Gordon Square open throughout the year Student Lockers Lockers are available for students and keys are issued under the following conditions
