92 General Information 1500 air photographs and number of books and periodicals on cartography and allied subjects In scope the topographic map collection covers the whole world the intensity of detail falling with distance from the CoUege Geological and other thematic cover follows similar distribution pattern The collection is maintained as reference collection and loans are not normally allowed although there are number of multiple copy sets for teach- ing and field-work ANIMAL UNIT Director Dyball vet ph Technician in charge Carter The Unit is administered by Management Committee with an Executive Chairman The Director The technician in charge is also member of the Committee The formulation of general policy regarding the disposition of resources and developments of the Unit are matter for the Management Committee The Manager is responsible for enforcing the provisions of the Cruelty to Animals Act and also the various Home Office directions
