Faculties and Courses of Study Certain details of the Mus sydabus are currently under review Candidates for the degree are advised to confirm the detads at time of application PHIL AND PH Students wishing to register as Internal candidates in the Faculty of Music for the Phd or Ph degree are at present required to have obtained the Mus degree or the Mus degree of the University of London or an equivalent degree of another University The minimum period of study is two years Candidates are recommended to refer to the University Regulations for Postgraduate Students proceeding to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy and to consult the Dean of the Faculty of Music before making an application certificate course The CoUege awards Certificate in Advanced Musical Studies to graduate students who have satisfactordy pursued one year's course of study in the Faculty but who are debarred from registering themselves as Internal candidates for the degrees of Mus Phd or Ph The course of study wdl be worked out individually for each candidate in accordance with his or her attainments and needs The Certificate wdl be endorsed with details of the course
