General Information 83 Payment of fees and subscriptions is normally made by cheque or money order made payable to University of London King's College' Fees The composition fee comprises registration tuition and examination fees for one attempt only at each examination and all other similar fees charged by the University or College Students who are required to re-sit an examination and who are not in atten- dance at College are responsible for the payment of the examination entry fee Laboratory deposits when applicable are payable separately Subscription There is subscription to the Union of Students oi £4 per annum for each full time student part-time students are charged reduced rate Membership of the Union of Students is obligatory for all students of the College STUDENTS Undergraduate Courses ARTS Sessional Union Total Fees and Fees Subscription Subscription £545 £45 £$90 special registration fee of £12 is charged in lieu of the sessional fee to all modem language students who are required to spend year abroad in connection with their degree courses and who need to remain registered at King's College during that time Apparatus deposits Students registered for the Degree in Geography are required to pay an apparatus deposit see Faculty of Natural Science below Separate courses Fees for separate courses are £23 term or £69 session per course Where applicable the Union Society Subscription will be payab pro-rata LAWS Sessional Union Total Fees and Fees Subscription Subscription LL £545 £4s £590 student who having passed the LL examination after only two years is required to register as an internal student for third year to qualify for the degree will be charged fee of £270 together with the Union Society sub- scription for that session unless the third year is counted as part of course of study for higher degree in which case the normal fee for the second course will be charged
