124 Faculties and Courses of Study second class honours or good LL degree of the University of London or an equivalent degree of another university The minimum period of study is two years In the case of the LL degree candidate must have previously obtained the LL Phil or the Ph degree in the Faculty of Laws as an internal student In exceptional circumstances candi- date who has obtained the LL degree as an internal student may be exempted from this requirement on the ground of published work Candidates must submit published papers or books constituting an original contribution to the advancement of legal knowledge Exemptions vrzJ kbrjnimoD IcuoucmaJril BAR EXAMINATIONS The LL degree entitles the holder to exemption from the Common Professional Examination Part formerly Bar examinations ARTICLED CLERKS The LL degree exempts articled clerks from the Common Profes- sional Examination Part formerly Law Society's Qualifying ex- amination
