212 Studentships Scholarships Exhibitions Bursaries and Prizes SAMBROOKE EXHIBITION IN GEOGRAPHY see under Faculty of Arts page 199 MERCHANT TAYLORS' COMPANY'S SKINNERS' COMPANY'S and FLORENCE HUGHES EXHIBITIONS for women students see under Faculty of Arts page 200 RABBETH AND OTHER SCHOLARSHIPS IN ANATOMY BIOCHEMISTRY PHARMACOLOGY OR PHYSIOLOGY The first of these Scholarships was founded in 1885 by John Edward Rabbeth of Middleton Lodge Putney in memory of Samuel Rabbeth lond distinguished former student of the School and Medical Faculty who sacrificed his life in an attempt to save child who was dying from diphtheria Scholarship of £54 will be offered annually to enable student of the Faculty of Medical Science to read for the Sc degree in the subjects normally taught within that Faculty for the period of three terms required by the degree regulations after successful completion of the pre-clinical medical course The recommendations for the award will be based on the work for the Stage II pre-clinical examination in King's College The payments will be made in three equal instalments provided the Scholar continues in attendance as regular student in the selected course and produces to the Registrar at the end of each term certificate of good conduct and satis- factory progress signed by the Heads of the Departments in which the course is held The Delegacy offers five additional Scholarships each of £54 for three terms on the same terms and conditions as the Rabbeth Scholarship IAN HEALEY MEMORIAL AWARD The Award was founded in 1974 from funds contributed by friends and colleagues in memory of Dr Ian Healey lecturer in Zoology in King's College from 1966 to 1972 The Award will be made every other year to an undergraduate student who has shown particular promise in ecology to enable him to carry out an approved project on an ecological topic during his vacation The next award to be made in 1976 The value of the Award will be £200
