Studentships Scholarships Exhibitions Bursaries and Prizes 209 UNDERGRADUATE ENTRANCE AWARDS Scholarship of £40 year for three years may be offered annually An Entrance Exhibition of £40 tenable for one year only may also be offered annually The holders will be required to enter the Faculty of Laws at King's College as Internal students of the University of London in October next following election unless special permission be given by the Dean of the Faculty of Laws to postpone the tenure on the understanding that they will proceed to an Honours degree in Laws in the University of London The awards may be held concurrently with any other awards made to the holders on entering the College The awards will be made on the basis of General Certificate of Education examination results of the information given in the Universities Central Council on Admissions application form and of an interview conducted in the Faculty of Laws No application is necessary as every entrant to the Faculty will be considered early in the first term The awards will not be made to candidates who do not satisfy the general requirements of admission of the University of London Candidates should therefore consult the pamphlet Regulations Relating to University Entrance Requirements copies of which can be obtained from the Secretary to the Univer- sity Entrance Requirements Department University of London Senate House WC1E 7HU The Scholarship will be payable in nine equal instalments one at the begin- ning of each term following the election The Exhibition will be payable in three equal instalments one at the beginning of each term of the first year of study in the College The instalments will be paid provided the holders continue in attendance as full-time registered students in the Faculty of Laws and subject to satisfactory attendance conduct and progress Undergraduate Awards CENTENARY SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES for Regulations see page 190 INTERMEDIATE SCHOLARSHIP Scholarship of £40 year will be awarded annually to students registered at King's College in the Faculty of Laws upon the results of the Special Inter- mediate examination in Laws held at the end of each session and upon considera- tion of the work done during the session The Scholarship will be tenable for two years subject to satisfactory reports upon the student's progress The Scholarship will not be awarded if there is no candidate of sufficient merit
