Annual Report of the Delegacy xxv The title of Senior Lecturer was conferred on Dr Coe Dr Curling and Dr Jones Administration Mr Smith was appointed Assistant Accountant fromJuly 1st 1972 MissJ Bayliss Administrative Assistant to the Registrar from September 5th 1972 Mr Μ Harris was promoted to Administrative Assistant to the Accountant from August 1st 1972 Halliday Hall Mrs JefFord appointed Warden of Halliday Hall Computer Unit MrJ Tandy Programmer from April 1st 1972 deaths The Delegacy learned with regret during the session of the deaths of the following Mr Sidney Marsh who was elected Fellow of King's College in 1955 He was at one time Treasurer of the Council and the Warden of Warminster Professor Η Flint who was appointed Lecturer in the Depart- ment of Physics in 1920 and Reader in 1927 He resigned in 1944 on appointment as Professor of Physics at Bedford College He was elected Fellow in 1956 Professor Nokes who died on November 15th 1971 at the age of 72 He was appointed Senior Lecturer in Laws in 1947 Reader in 1948 and had the title of Professor conferred on him in 1955 He was elected Fellow in 1963 and retired in 1966 Don Antonio Pastor founder of the Pastor Foundation for Classical Studies in Madrid died on December 15th 1971 at the age of 76 He was appointed Reader in the Department of Spanish in 1921 and Cervantes Professor in 1930 Professor Pastor resigned from the College in 1945 and was elected Fellow in 1946 Dr Η Relton who died on November 30th 1971 at the age of 89 He was appointed Lecturer in 1919 and from 1924 to 1948 was Professor of Dogmatic Theology He was elected Fellow in 1922 The Rt Reverend Simpson Bishop of Southwark from 1942 to 1948 died on July 19th 1971 at the age of 87 He was elected Fellow of King's College in 1958 Professor Jacob Fellow and Librarian of All Souls and former
