Studentships Scholarships Exhibitions Bursaries and Prizes 215 SAMBROOKE SCHOLARSHIP IN MEDICAL SCIENCE Scholarship of £100 will be offered annually to medical students of the Faculty of Medical Science of King's College who will proceed to King's College Hospital for clinical studies The award of the Scholarship will be made to student who has passed the Second Medical Examination and intends to read for Sc degree The recommendations for the award will be based on the work for the Second Medical Examination in King's College and will be made by the Faculty of Medical Science The payments will normally be made in four equal instalments at the be- ginning of each term provided the Scholar continues in full-time attendance as student in the selected course and that the Scholar's conduct and pro- gress are satisfactory CENTENARY SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES for Regulations see page 186 RABBETH AND OTHER SCHOLARSHIPS Medical students who may wish to take the four-term course for the Sc degree in Anatomy Biochemistry Pharmacology or Physiology between passing their Second Medical examination and beginning their clinical course are eligible for the Rabbeth and other scholarships of which the conditions are given on page 205 under Faculty of Natural Science Postgraduate Award LAYTON SCIENCE RESEARCH PRIZE for Regulations see page 209 Prizes WARNEFORD PRIZES These Prizes were founded by the Rev Samuel Wilson Warneford ll for the encouragement of the study of Theology among the full-time medical students of King's College There are two Prizes the first of the value of £50 consisting of silver medal and books or instruments and the second of the value of £30 consisting of bronze medal and books or instruments Candidates must have passed in at least two subjects in the examinations at King's College or the associated Hospital Medical School held in the March or summer of the calendar year in which they enter for Prize No one will be eligible to compete for the Prize who does not qualify in medical subjects
