Annual Report of the Delegacy lxi United Nations Affairs which advises the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs and was also re-appointed Director of Studies of the International Law Association Professor Cohn lectured to the Faculty of Laws of the University of Manchester on the sources of law in the Common Market and to the Faculty of Laws at the University of Frankfurt-am-Main on Sources of Law and methods of interpretation' Dr Mellows gave course of ten lectures on the Law of succession in the University of Birmingham read papers on Leasehold Law at two conferences in London and delivered the Guest Lecture to law students at the Central London Polytechnic on 'Recent develop- ments in the Law of Trusts' He also read papers at and was member of the directing staff of courses at the University of Nottingham sponsored by the Institute of Chartered Accountants on 'Executorship and the administration of estates' and on 'Trusteeship' at course in Cambridge University MrJ Freeman was chairman of the Association of Law Teachers for the current year and presided over the annual conference held at Sheffield University at Easter 1971 He attended as Secretary the VI Congresso Internacional de Criminologia Madrid in September 1970 He participated at the conference on 'The causes and treatment of crime' convened by the Ditchley Foundation for visiting United States Senators and Congressmen Mr Kinley lectured to the Royal Aeronautical Society the Air Corporations Staff College and the Cranfield Institute of Technology Department of Flight He also lectured at the Royal Naval Staff College the Royal Air Force College for Air Warfare the Royal Military College of Science and the United States Navy Reserve Officers' School London He organised joint King's College Ministry of Defence Study Conference on the legal and strategic aspects of underwater systems at Chichester He represented the Ministry of Defence at conference organised by the Gesellschaft fur Auslands- kunde Munich on the subject 'The soldier in democracy' He participated in seminars at the Joint Warfare Establishment and the Army Staff College Dr Mendelson participated in United Nations symposium in Geneva on 'The in changing world' Mrs Jean Campbell lectured on the Law on Evidence to the Factory Inspectorate at the request of the Staff Training Section Department of Employment and Productivity
