78 General Information be paid by the College out of the composition fee University registra- tion will be completed when the student registers with the Registrar's Office at the beginning of his first session in College Fees All fees quoted below are those at the time of going to press the Council and Delegacy reserve the right to raise them without notice The fees given below are for one academic year and are payable in advance at the beginning of session and fee accounts are required to be settled within 14 days of receipt They may be paid each term only on application and by special arrangement The College reserves the right to suspend students whose fee accounts are in arrears from attendance at the College and to cancel their College and University registrations half-term's notice in writing must be given to the Secretary of the College by any student intending to withdraw This notice must be given before the end of the first half of the term in which the student intends to leave otherwise an additional half-term's fees become due and payable Payment of fees is normally made by cheque or money order made payable to 'University of London King's College' Composition fee this comprises registration tuition and examination fees for one attempt only at each examination and all other similar fees charged by the University or College Laboratory deposits when applicable are payable separately In the tables which follow such fees are denoted by an asterisk Students who are required to re-sit an examination and who are not in attendance at College are responsible for the payment of the examination entry fee student who enters the College direct from King's College School or from Strand School who produces certificate stating that he has attended for at least five terms in that school and who pays his own fees at College may apply for reduction of 20 per cent in his com- position fee Subject to the approval of the Dean of his faculty and of the lecturer concerned student may attend any class in his own faculty or any one class in any other faculty without extra tuition fee STUDENTS Arts Undergraduate Courses in Geography £87 in all cases except the above £72
