General Information 75 They must have attended classes in the College for at least three years as full-time students except in the cases of medical students who have to spend only five or six terms in College They must have obtained degree of the University of London They must have regularly attended the two-term course of in- struction in Theology over three years and have passed such examina- tions or tests as may from time to time be required All those who have fulfilled the above conditions will receive certificate attesting that they have completed the course and may apply to the Council to receive the Diploma of the Associateship The fee for the Diploma is Theological The regulations are given in the prospectus of the Theological Depart- ment Register of Associates Associates of King's College provided they have their names on the Register of Associates the fee for which is Ā£1-50 may Participate in the election of two members of the Council of King's College Attend at the lectures given in the Faculty of Theology at reduction of 20 per cent in the fee for the whole course for the Associateship Gain admission to College lectures and classes exclusive of laboratories at reduction of 20 per cent in fees Use the Library free of charge during the period of study Receive copy of the Annual Report of the Council Admission of Students Students of the College are either Full-time Occasional or Part-time Full-time students are those admitted to the regular and full courses of study prescribed in their respective faculties Occasional students are those who wish to study particular subject or subjects rather than complete course They are required to conform to the same discipline as full-time students while in the precincts of the College At present occasional students are admitted to undergraduate courses only in very exceptional circumstances Only postgraduate students working for higher degree can be admitted as part-time students Applicants for admission to the College will not be accepted except in the case of some students from overseas without being interviewed
