Annual Report of the Delegacy lxxxi and Truth' to the Glasgow Philosophical Society and also read paper to the Philosophy Club at Glasgow and some general lectures in the University In March Professor Lewis gave lectures to the Catholic Society at the University of Exeter During the Easter vacation Profes- sor Lewis visited the University of the West Indies at its invitation and under the auspices of the Inter-University Council He visited the colleges at Barbados and Jamaica and attended meetings of their Theological Faculty He also lectured during the vacation at Drew Yale Boston and other American universities In June Professor Lewis conducted seminar on his recent book at the University of Sussex Professor Lewis was an examiner at Hull and Cambridge Professor Parrinder read paper at an international seminar at Punjabi University Patiala and visited Hindu Sikh Buddhist and Jain holy places He presided at conference on The responses of the faiths' at Cumberland Lodge He gave the annual lecture of the Folk- lore Society at University College read paper at Birmingham Univer- sity lectured at clergy conference and at teachers' conference in Birmingham and lectured to the Inter-European Commission on Education World Council of Churches Professor Parrinder was an examiner for the Universities of Wales Leeds Ghana and the West Indies DEPARTMENT OF NEW TESTAMENT STUDIES The Reverend Professor Evans was on leave of absence from January to October 1970 as Visiting Fellow of St Mark's Library and Institute of Theology in Canberra where he was also an Honorary Fellow of the Australian National University As well as acting in an advisory capacity to the Library he initiated New Testament seminar in St Mark's gave four lectures at the Oecumenical Refresher Con- ference there and read papers to the Society for the Study of Religion and Theology and the Inter-Church Fellowship He preached the Commencement Sermon in the University and read papers to the and the Pluralist Society In March he resided for three weeks at Ormond College in the University of Melbourne as George Scott Visiting Fellow delivered four Ormond Lectures anlnauguralLecture and two lectures at the University of Monash At Sydney he read papers to the Fellowship of Biblical Studies in Moore College and to Professor Collinson's postgraduate class He also lectured at St Francis College Brisbane and in the University of Brisbane to the clergy of the Diocese of Hobart and in New Zealand at St John's College Auckland and Knox College Dunedin
