Annual Report of the Delegacy lxi Board was constituted to include five undergraduate students and two postgraduates and the first meeting was held in the Lent term In addition to the various Public Lectures in Laws seminar on 'The Concept of Control' was conducted by Professor Louis Loss of Harvard Law School Professor Graveson delivered paper on the Unification and Harmonisation of European Law at the 118th Wilton Park conference As Chairman of group of consultant jurists he presented their final report on the Feasibility of European Law Commission to the Legal Committee of the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe Professor Kiralfy spent the month of April in the Civil Procedure Department of Moscow University under the Anglo- Soviet Cultural Treaty He gave two lectures on Soviet law and legal theory at the Law Faculty of Birmingham University He lectured at the City of London College on the Historical Development of English Law and to group of Swedish lawyers on visit organised by Stockholm University on the History of the English Legal System Professor James was an active member of group Science and Personality with special reference to the Law relative to Medicine He lectured to King's College Theological students on the Assumptions behind the Criminal Law In April Professor Guest led the United Kingdom Delegation to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law UNICENTRAL New York He attended the working groups of UNICENTRAL on Sale of Goods in New York in January and on Limitation in Geneva in August He was elected member of the Examinations Council of the Finance Houses Association Professor Chloros in the spring of 1970 under the auspices of the Hayter Scheme for the Encouragement of Studies in Eastern Europe visited the Universities of Leningrad Moscow Warsaw Budapest and Bucharest He also visited the Ail-Union Institutes of Law and State and Codification of the Soviet Academy of Sciences He gave lectures on variety of topics in the Common Law and Comparative Law at the University of Paris and the University of Uppsala and lectured at the Swedish Export Association Stockholm the German Lawyers Association West Berlin the University of Kiel Faculty of Law the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Institute of Law the Rumanian Academy of Sciences Cluj Branch Institute of Juridical Sciences and the Rumanian Academy of Moral and Political Sciences Institute of Juridical Sciences
