xxvi Annual Report of the Delegacy Faculty of Theology Dr Stanton Lecturer in New Testament Studies The title of Professor of the Comparative Study of Religions was conferred on Dr Parrinder Visiting Professors to King's College Professor Β Ranft Royal Naval College Greenwich War Studies Professor Stocking Professor and Botanist at the University of California Davis Botany Professor Sussex of the University of Canterbury New Zealand was Visiting Professor of French from February 1970 until the end of the session Dr Anderson University of Sydney Zoology Chaplain The Reverend Kingsbury Library Miss Ann Matthews Assistant Librarian from March 1st 1970 Mrs Η Robinson Assistant Librarian from January 1st 1970 Mr Harvey was promoted to be Senior Assistant Librarian Halliday Hall Hall of Residence for women students as from October 1971 Miss Anne Prestwood Warden Administration Mr Μ Tempany Accountant Mr Summerton Personal Assistant in the Principal's office from Decern- ber 1st 1969 Mr Shave Administrative Assistant to the Accoun- tant deaths The Delegacy learned with regret during the session of the deaths of the following former members of the College Fellows Sir Terence Cawthorne Consultant Adviser in Otolaryngology to the Ministry of Health 1948-67 and Aural Surgeon at the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases 1936-67 From 1946 to 1948 Sir Terence was Dean of King's College Hospital Medical School Mr Cremer former student and member of staff He inaugurated the study of Chemical Engineering at King's College in 1928 and was Director of Chemical Engineering Studies until 1939 Professor Brambell Lecturer in Zoology 1927-30 and afterwards Professor of Zoology in the University College of Wales Bangor Professor Casson who was on the staff of the English depart- ment from 1943 to 1951 before becoming Professor of English at the University of Cape Town
