Annual Report of the Delegacy Ixiii Professor Kiralfy represented the National Committee of Comparative Law at the meeting of the International Association of Legal Science at Paris He participated in meeting of general reporters of the International Encyclopaedia of Comparative Law at Ham- burg He was appointed representative of the Society of Public Teachers of Law on the National Committee of Comparative Law Professor James' report as legal expert on the Council of Europe Sub-Committee was approved by the Committee of Ministers and was published Professor James continued to act as legal member of the Science and Personality group of the Foundation He delivered paper and took part in discussions on the Children and Young Persons Bill 1969 at the University of Sussex Centre for Continuing Education Professor Guest again led the United Kingdom Delegation to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law at its second meeting in Geneva Professor Chloros was member of the United Kingdom Dele- gation to the Conference of Deans of European Law Faculties at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg He attended the Conference of the International Society on Copyright held at Sveti Stefan Jugoslavia and the International Congress of Judges in Berlin While in Berlin he gave an interview to the British Forces Network in Germany on the work of the Judges' Conference and other legal matters Under the Hayter scheme he visited the Institute of Comparative Law in Belgrade and the Universities of Novi Sad and Zagreb During the course of the session he lectured at the Institut Universitaire des Etudes Europeennes at Turin the Faculty of Law of Paris and at the Universities of Wurz- burg Lausanne Fribourg and Zagreb Professor Maudsley was Chairman of the Disciplinary Com- mittee of the Principal's Staff Student Advisory Committee and was appointed External Examiner at the University of Lagos Professor Cohn gave guest lecture to the Law Students' Society at Darmstadt on the adversary principle in civil procedure Sir Francis Vallat was appointed first Director of Studies of the International Law Association Sir Francis led the United Kingdom Delegation to the United Nations Conference on the Law of Treaties in Vienna He lectured to the Royal Aeronautical Society on the Outer Space Treaties Mr Kinley's activities in relation to his post as Lecturer in
