Annual Report of the Delegacy liii Dr Β Dawson completed his contributions for the Nuffield Science Teaching Project level Physical Science Section He lectured at High Wycombe College of Technology and contri- buted to various specialist conferences held in Bristol Exeter and the London area Mr Muir lectured to the Cardiff and Liverpool Branches of the Classical Associations to courses at Bangor and Oxford to several schools in the London area and to the course for teachers of Classics held at Stoke D'Abernon He was Director of the 1969 Classical Association Weekend Courses Mr Thompson during his year in the Faculty as Part-time Lecturer in Education Physical Sciences on secondment from Watford Grammar School contributed to three television films for the African Australasian and American continents on Project Work in Schools He has been succeeded in the Faculty for 1969-70 by Mrs Bradshaw The Mobile Television Recording Unit reached the end of its three- year experimental period The manifest and widespread success of its work encouraged the College to consolidate and extend its functions with maintenance grant for 1969-70 In order that Mr Muir and Mr Ian Harris who had run the Unit since its establishment under Gul- benkian grant of £11 500 should no longer have so much of their research time prejudiced technical Manager for the Unit was ap- pointed for 1969-70 Mr Robinson who had been engaged in similar work for the Coal Board The services of the Unit will now be available over all the subjects in which the Education Faculty con- ducts teaching practice in schools and for other Faculties of the College by arrangement The Faculty acted as host on two occasions when Chemistry tutors from other University Departments of Education visited London for discussions on Methodology The annual dramatic production of the Education Society given in the Great Hall for three performances was of The Bald Primadonna by Ionesco and The Twinkling Twins by Obaldia
