210 Studentships Scholarships Exhibitions Bursaries and Prizes VII Available in the Faculty of Engineering Entrance Scholarships WORSLEY SCHOLARSHIP for Regulations see page 174 Undergraduate Awards SAMBROOKE EXHIBITIONS IN ENGINEERING Exhibitions of jT2$ each will be offered annually to students in the Depart- ments of Civil Electrical and Mechanical Engineering The Exhibitions will be awarded to the student in each of the above Depart- ments who obtains the best results based upon the work done during the first year of study at the College The Exhibitions will be awarded on the recommendation of the Faculty of Engineering SALOMONS SCHOLARSHIP This Scholarship which is at present of the value of £50 was founded in 1890 by Sir David Salomons Bart and is awarded by the Council of the Institution of Electrical Engineers to student of one of the following London institutions University College King's College City and Guilds Central Technical College and the Finsbury Technical College who shall be recommended by his College as having distinguished himself in the study of Electrical Engineering and who purposes continuing his studies in that subject DAVID HUGHES SCHOLARSHIP This Scholarship which is of the value of £50 is given annually out of the legacy bequeathed to the Institution of Electrical Engineers by the late Professor David Hughes and is awarded on the same terms as the Salomons Scholarship CENTENARY SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES for Regulations see page 178
